ideas for leftover stew other than pasta?

Hi everyone,
next week I am planning on making a pepper beef stew (the recipe is from the Bocca cookbook, and involves a large amount of black peppercorns, both whole and crushed, tomatoes and diced beef, but I am planning on making it with a large silverside joint as a pot roast type thing)
The sauce is delicious and so rich, I have planned on shredding the leftover beef and mixing it through the sauce (serving as a sunday roast with roast parmesan potatoes, kale etc) but as I am attempting to reduce the amount of food in the freezer I would like to maybe have it as leftovers for a couple of days, so looking for ideas to change it from the rich ragu we will have with pasta one day, or just alternative serving suggestions?
I LOVE using leftover pot roast beef with pasta, so if the worst comes to the worst I can just freeze in small tubs (300ml cream tubs give the right amount of pasta sauce for 2 greedy people-it is very rich!)
Looking forward to ideas

How about adding some spices and turning it into a curry. It sounds lovely by the way!Tess x

ooh sounds delish! that would be lovely in a pie! I would just put the pastry on top and you can bulk it out with more veg if you like.
or mixed with beans and covered with mash (like a shepherds pie) or sliced potatoes (like a hot pot)weaving through the chaos...0 -
I'd add lots of onions & make a pie with it.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0

how about chilli con carne, add beans and onions and chilli.
or goulash? so warming this time of year.
enchiladas, burritos, most mexican with lovely crisp salad and re-fried beans.Opinion on everything, knowledge of nothing.0 -
Thanks everyone, pie sounds like a good possibility, not good calorie wise, but it would taste good. I don't think it would work as a curry, but I could mix some chickpeas or beans with it and have that with rice, would be nice. Or a lasagne maybe. mm or cannelloni. oops-back to pasta.
(I think it also has onions, celery and carrots in it, but I need to check the recipe)
It IS delicious. it is mad how much pepper you put in, but the warming-ness of biting a whole peppercorn is FANTASTIC!0 -
