Wagedayadvance set up direct debit 27.01.2012

So i am in the process of taking out a DMP and have subsequaintly cancelled my card and setting up a safe account.

I have cancelled all direct debits for those i owe money too, i have logged into my account today (27th january at 12.14am) and seen that a directed debit for wagedayadvance has been set up but cancelled....

I do not understand that if i had already cancelled one how they can set up another and that its been cancelled already without my knowledge...

    Hi

Unfortunately they can keep setting up DDs even once you have cancelled them. They shouldn't but they can. I guess in your case your bank has cancelled this one as well because of your previous instruction (which is more than a lot of banks managed). You'll just need to keep an eye on the account really and keep cancelling any they set up.
