Uniform Maintenance Tax Rebate Letter Download

Hi Everyone
Could I please ask a quick favour?
I've put together a letter for people to download, edit, print off and send to HMRC to find out if they are due a tax refund for Uniform Maintenance (as mentioned in yesterday's email - thank you Martin!).
I just need to know if people like it and if it's worth downloading before I put it onto my website, so if someone wouldn't mind taking a look for me I'd really appreciate it.
It covers people who wear uniform/may be eligible in their current employment. If it's well received I'll do another one so that details of previous employment can be added too to cover the last 6 years.
Thanks for you time!
Claire

There's been a profile letter on the existing thread for close to 7 years :

As a new user you're not allowed to post links because of the considerable amount of spam that's come from such sources in the past.
You can link to your Website through your Profile. But as you can't advertise it - there's not a lot of point? If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
Thanks, Mikeyorks! I'll put it to my FB/Twitter followers instead.

I trust you've proofed it against the data on the HMRC site 'Logo / protective clothing .. nurse's tights etc?
A lot of info on the existing 1077 posts on the link I gave .... but needs a few coffees to get through it.If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
6 years is looking a bit dodgy now. The time limit for claiming for 2005/06 is 31 January 2012.
The time limit for 2006/07 is 31 March 2012.
The time limit for 2007/08 is 5 April 2012.
Thereafter the time limit will be 4 years.

Can I just ask, how do you work out how much it is you are due back?0

sadly even though MSE advertise that thread themselves (and inserted the guide into #1 themselves in the first place) they now refuse to edit the reference to 6 years even though I have told them it's wrong0 -
I read the link that was in the moneysupermarket email and that had nothing about the amount, the link above talks about overpaying tax but doesn't include laundering uniform in it's lists of reasons, anyone else..?0

if you read this thread from the start you will see in #3 above there is the link to the guide, where its says we now have a guide: click on the link IN BLUE or go through a few pages of the over 1600 replies in that thread discussing this many times over
