How long does chorizo keep?

I just used some tonight that has been in the fridge since Christmas, DS bought it whilst he was here but didn't use it as I already had some, this one I opened about three weeks ago and used about a third of it used another third tonight so one more meal to go maybe next week. Its indestructible LOL ...0
