Magazine subscriptions.

If you sign up to a magazine subscription that offers a free gift - if you cancel the sub........ do you have to return the freebie?

But do read the small print carefully before you do this because sometimes you may get caught out by a "minimum" subscription time.

usually the freebie is to get you to subscribe - you then recieve the gift and the first mag.......after that it depends on the mag - some let you cancel at any time - others state you have to take a certain number. read the small print.

Yeah, best to check the small print if these a minimum sign up time.

As for the free gift, yes I'd say you would be able to keep that, its a gift after all.
