Branded company car tax

in Cutting tax
Hi,
I'm new to this forum, so please be gentle!
I've been lucky enough to get a new job, a job that provides me with a company car. The company car however, is fully 'wrapped' in company logos, and phone numbers, including their web address.
I've been told that having a car that is essentially a mobile advertisement attracts a lower tax rate, than an equivalent none branded vehicle.
Can anybody tell me if this is correct, as I'm struggling to get a reliable source. I have spoken to HMRC but I wouldn't absolutely trust the person advice that I spoke to, as they were not too sure themself.
Thanks in advance.

Hello there
Unfortunately, this will still be treated as a company car under the normal rules. There is a clause that states that if the vehicle is unsuitable for private use it possibly could not be a company car. But clearly you can use the vehicle for private use, you will just feel a little daft driving it to, say, a wedding!
I don't think you could argue a case under this get-out I'm afraid.0
