I placed a bet for oh on a betfred account i had as he could not remember his password, i used his card to pay for the bet and it came in. I withdrew the funds and it specifically said back to the card ending **** which was his card. I had not used the betting account since last november so i didnt think there was another card to withdraw to anyway.
Upon checking the money has gone back on to a card of MY bank account, an account which is way overdrawn and not used and i dont even have the card its been that long! iv been trying to sort a dmp out with this account so know i obviously would notice if it said to go to that account!
i emailed betfred and got a response stating i had agreed to betfred ts and cs specifically that card withdrawals must balance equally.
i replied stating that it did and still does say if i withdraw it goes to account ending **** (which is ohs)
i then got a response saying :
the funds were sent back to card ending **** (my card) as over a period of time from 11th dec you deposited £60 from this and no funds were sent back.
upon checking my betfred account only one bet has been placed in that time?!?! the last bet before that was 5th november but i cant see what account thats from.
is there anything i can do? it takes hours for me to get a reply from them and i need the money!!!

Is the account you used in your name..... and the card used in his name? I work for one of the large gaming sites I know our policy is deposit will go through however if the card is not in account holders name it will be flagged and security blocked...any withdrawal etc will go back to card in registered account holders name..... it may be their policy is the same, due to security/fraud etc you cannot withdraw to card on an account where the card is not in the actual account holders name....check their t&cs it should all be stated in there xOn the road to financial freedom.... one MSE penny at a time....:T0
