Defaulted Quick Quid Loan HELP

I got a loan from Quick Quid some months ago and am struggling to pay due to being out of work. I have contacted them asking to settle the outstanding debt of £492 over 4 payments and the least they said they could was over 2 i just cannot afford this. Has this already affected my credit rating and what can i do about this :( Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated thanks

Pay them what you have suggested anyway, make sure you do it by auditable process like bank transfer stating your account number as the reference. They legally have to accept any payment even if it is just a penny and they won't take you to court as you are making reasonable payments.

Well you really should move your money to another account from another bank so they dont take all your money and do not take out another PDL from another firm usng the new account.

Or sign up for ANY other pay day loans once you have a new account.....they all seem to be connected in some sort of incestuous, unholy clan.

Many people here have changed banks accounts and then, like pigeons, have gone and applied for another one of these awful things and had the money taken from the new account by the old company.

Do not be surprised to see them pass it to a DCA. QQ like to use everyone's friend Mackenzie Hall.

Some of their staff are rude especially a lady called Lorraine but I spoke to a nice gentleman who offered me a full and final settlement with £100 off the balance. If they offer you that, ask for it in writing though.
Debt free as of 7.20am on 31st December 2012.

    Wow. Feels great :j
  • Going to a DCA is going to be your only way if you can't pay as their predicting (Quickquid do not hand out their bank details!) you may be able to pay via paypal

And just when this certain lender was 'getting friendly'... allegedly!
Knew their "long terms plans we accept any" were just rummours !
