Best ReMortgage Deal

Hi Forum

I'm new here but happy to help if anyone needs a heads up on best lenders/deals for remortgages etc.

Top tip....always check that you are dealing with a truly independent broker....if they cant deal with 90+ uk lenders then they are probably hiding the fact that they are tied to a few banks.
Also watch out for compulsory "Admin Fees"...one very large estate agency linked advisor company has just announced a minimum of £299 admin fee regardless of whether they are successful in getting you a mortgage!......they are also known to load life cover premiums by up to 45%!

Always ask for details of costs upfront and check that the person that you are dealing with can deal with 90+ lenders

Other than that if in doubt look me up....only too happy to help with uptodate rates etc :)

Independent, or whole market? Commission rebate to subsidise fee and/or recommendation of direct to lender deals?

Assuming you're an adviser, you need to read the adviser code of conduct and display the correct wording in your signature.

    advise away!

moving house hopefully, after a 110k mortgage, 80k deposit on a 190k house. current morg runs out in 13 years, on. normal svr now. think we will have to reset to 25 year morg though.

seen the 10 year fixed at 3.99 with £300 a arrangement fee, seems good but unsure really.

doing above figures will leave us with no savings to, so unsure wether to get bigger morg and keep some money in bank. wont move for 10 years 8 expect as well.

    cheers

Assuming you fit the income/age/credit score criteria

This isnt a bad one and appears to be the cheapest fixed rate deal over a 2 year period.

    Happy to help :)

PS if you are taking additional or replacement life cover be careful of expensive premiums....always check the cost with a broker first as you can save up to 50% on insurance premiums
