Career Finance: Unable To Repay

Hello!

I was recommended using this forum to try getting some help regarding a loan problem i have.
Basically early December, i signed a credit agreement with Career Finance, to pay for a course with Train2Game. All was planned and went well, up until two things occured;

I was told I could pay for it by my Visa Electron. This was confirmed by the person who came to my house and went through it with me. The payment date came in december, and i got informed it had failed to be paid. I rang them up, they confirmed that I cannot pay via Electron. So thats the first major cockup, that threw everything off. I also have no rapid and fast access to the bank to manually pay things in. Although, thats now irrelevant due to the next problem.

Job Seekers. I was on it, they decided i didn't turn up for an appointment (I didn't, but I hadn't been informed of this appointment outside of my normal sign in times). So that is cockup number 2, and also means i cannot repay it to any degree currently.

I have been told two options, although i'm unsure how any of these will go in a real situation. So i guess this is what i need help with most.

1) I don't pay and wait for it to fall into Debt Collectors hands. They may be willing to sort out a tiny bit each month for decades if needed. Where Career Finance will not.
2) Try to pay as much as I can, it won't be much. I've also been told if I do this, it makes it harder to get any debt cleared in the future if the problem gets worse. I just have to hope career finance won't go nuts after a while about slowly getting further behind, and hope showing willing will make them more helpful.

Some things to note;
I've called Career Finance regarding renegotiating. They say thats not possible until i've made 3 full payments. Which isn't going to be likely any time soon.

I've also been informed Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) may be able to offer some real help to help me get past this, or even help write the debt off perhaps. I've never used CAB before, and have no idea how they work, and on what terms. So any advice about CAB will be helpful too.

If i've missed out anything you need to know, then just ask. Hopefully you'll be able to help me sort things out before things get too stressful for me.

Thanks in advance
- Adam
