Small Claims Advice Please?

I want to claim for about £200 from my local council through the small claims court. They've been messing me around for weeks and I was hoping that I might be able to add on a tenner or so for every letter that I have had to write to them.

Has anyone any advice on whether I can claim for such things as letters and maybe inconvinience? If so, what might be considered a reasonable amount for each letter I have had to write and send?

No such thing as the small claims court anymore but take a look at this link which explains the proceedure.
For a claim up to £300 would cost you £30 which you get back if you win.
It can all be done online and you pay the fee with a debit card.

There very much is a small claims court, but I only know about Scotland. It differs in E+W I belive.
