hi all
i have been on a dmp for about 12 months and its all settled now
unfourtantley this month i have had to bail my brother out and as such now can only afford token payments (ie a £1 each) to all creditors
i have already sent the £1 payments but am looking for a nice template i can use explaining that this is just a one off and i will be able to pay my usual dmp amounts next month
thanks in advance in reality this is probably simple enough i just cant get my head right at present.
thanks

I've not seen a template, but I know the charities will do this on a DMP for unexpected/emergency costs such as car repairs/broken down car, broken white goods, change of job/payday etc.
I don't know if they'd mention the reason for the reduction - as you are self-managed I'd probably be tempted to - I might not use the actual reason you've had to do it in this case.
I'd just keep the letter fairly simple.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
