Owner driver couriers

Hi, could you please let me know if you or anyone you know works for one of the owner driver courier companies (eg DPD)? I am looking at getting into this myself but want to find out if they are as successful as they claim to be, would keep me sufficiently supplied with work and whether there are any companies that I should look out for in this sector that are especially good / bad. Thanks

I know the ones at DPD when it was Parceline were doing around 100 drops a day, working 12hrs+, 5 days a week. And they had absolutely no say about the workload or when they could work. If they couldn't come in for a day they had to get someone to drive their van - not doing it was not an option.0
