MSE News: Blow to Peacocks shoppers as gift cards no longer accepted

Hello all.

First time posting here so i hope I don't put anything wrong.

I am so confused about these gift cards no longer being accepted.

My daughter has @ £30 on 3 cards which she tried to spend on Saturday. She gets these cards from ourselves and other relatives as what 14 year old girl wants her mother picking out her clothes ? LOL.

Anyway, what I am confused about and very angry about is we have paid Peacocks for goods in advance and now they will not let us have them.

As the cards were purchased long before the company went into administration, there should be some come back. As it stands now, it is as if these companies have stolen the birthday money of a child. It is disgraceful.

I am filling out the claims forms in a short while.

I do wish the staff of Peacocks well & hope for a last minute reprieve for them.

(I love Peacocks clothes my self & will miss them)
