Now do I venture out now, to where I think they are or wait for DODO to confirm it? Though I'm not sure how much room there is in the freezer in garage so might not be worth rushing out for a couple of packs.

What sort of store did you find them in extra or normal one? Might narrow it down a bit for me. ;)

Caz I think FK was talking about when a RTC yellow sticker barcode is placed on the item :)

I maybe misread Daisy's original post as I thought she was talking about an SEL and not a sticker.

I'd still recommend scanning items with RTC labels as more than once I've gotten DTDs from them.

Thanks motherbear, that would mean a shorter trip for me. I wonder if that is where I saw them. Dare I go and try, I'm quite cosy at the moment.

DODO have you gone to sleep?? :D
  • I put a pic up of my cat a while ago. She's a Burmese of age unknown but minimum 14 yrs so she's an old lady now. She eats crumbed arnie ham, or corned beef or chicken and I often get these when whoopsied to 10p a pack just for her.

She also shares with me, salmon, trout, Sea Bass, kebab meat, sirloin steak (raw and cooked) chicken (raw and cooked) and her absolute favourite is cheese which she now begs me for everytime I go near the fridge.

Bless her:) Our Jilly is about 18/19, Her and rufus were from the Blue Cross 17 years ago we lost Rufus last year and I still miss him so much. He was such a character with such attitude and so vocal. I recorded his mew and have it as my text alert. It's caused many a strange look, lol. Jilly is such an angel and I dread loosing her. She's not been so good the last few days so we are off to the vets early tomorrow. Fingers crossed it's nothing major. I often get whoopsies for her and little b. He's 8 and decided to move in and stayed (with our neighbours blessing when they moved)

Sorry but I have to disagree with you on that one. I got a Kenwood 196 food processor like you but mine was on a yellow RTC SEL priced at £45 but scanned at £90.

Did they actually scan the yellow SEL or the original barcode on the packaging? Did the yellow SEL completely cover the old barcode?

RTC items do occasionally get programmed wrong but on the whole they tend to scan at the price on the SEL.

You did well with that one though! :)

  • Egypt now. Apologies for the poor quality as some were taken by a cam phone. I had almost a thousand pictures from all over Egypt that I deleted by accident *cry*

Loving all the pics Happy, it is like you are taking us all on the trip. :) Such a shame you deleted some, moments can never be recreated, I lost some pics of DD2 when newborn as my camera broke. Few days worth lost for ever. :(
