In about 15 minutes time could I have you all concentrate Uri Geller type vibes that I can jump start the other car without the jump leads smoking today, I bought some new ones now, I've done it loads of times before but it scared me yesterday & need one working car to drive to Gatwick on Wednesday.

Its going to be around the same time Czerny goes to the dentist

I really do have a terrible memory. I can't tell you what I had for tea the day before most of the time. Very frustrating and a little frightening for later in life where I'm convinced I'll end up licking windows not knowing my own name!

My memory is however triggered well by sight. I can walk up and down the aisles in T's and I just see stuff and know what it should scan at, or if its an old 1p item or something. I can see dozens of items that trigger my memory but walking in the door I might only have 2 or 3 items in my head. Weird.

I'm the same, don't need peices of paper anymore reminding me of the 1p items but if someone i know ( or should know) says hi it takes a while to remember their name, they're usually well gone by the time I do :rotfl:

Does anyone know the email address to use to praise good CS but complain about a Tesco own brand product?

Saturday evening I went to local Mr T with a bag of size 4+ Huggies Super Dry nappies wanting to exchange them for size 5.

There was none in stock so I got size 6 but wasn't too sure they do the trick cos my two are quite slight and whereas 4+ wasn't keeping them "Super Dry" (capacity) I was thinking 6 wouldn't be great either cos they wouldn't fit snuggly.

Anyway, I exchanged for size 6 but woman at CS gave me some Tesco own brand size 5s "to see us through the night". Apparently they have an open packet that they give to those who ask for 'instore nappy changes' ... IYKWIM. (I did actually have some size 5 'overnight' nappies at home but didn't have the heart to tell her). She was doing her good dead for the day and so I took em :D

I have in the past bought the odd pack of own brand nappies ... when I've been stuck and I know they're only gonna be on for 2 hrs at a time ... but never tried them over night. But on Saturday night I thought I'd give them a go.

At the moment DS has a bit of a sore bum :( and so when he was up at around 3 I did a change and used Benpanthen. In the morning ... what did I find? A split nappy and goey crystals in PJs. Ouch! Many tears

Just found an online Customer Service form and completed it ... let see what happens??

  • Upgrade or new contract? I know when you get a new contract depending how close or how far away you are from the networks billing date your first bill can be for only a few quid as you're only paying for a part month. If it's an upgrade it could still be the same depending on how close to the billing date you upgraded.

Upgrade. Basically it was a total balls up on their part. Bill was £70, they took £4.50, overdue charge £66 and charge for the actual phone £59.:eek::eek:

Over half an hour on the phone to them this morning, I swear they must see my number coming up and draw straws to see who has to speak to me this time :rotfl::rotfl:

Needless to say the £59 has been wiped, someone 'forgot' to remove that charge and my monthly discount wasn't applied
either :mad: it's all sorted now, just had to pay £37.

Will look forward to next months bill now :rotfl:
