Misery Guts has just come back from work with 10p mars bars :j he said that they were hidden underneath 10 packs so he's probably had someone's stash but hey ho. if they didnt want to spend 10 little pennies then they didnt deserve to come back for their stash!!

Definately, I'm a stickler with table rules, My DS has taken to wearing a hat lately, don't ask!!! and I refuse to let him wear it when we're eating dinner, I know I'm horrible:p. So to wind me up he takes it off and puts it on a big ornament in the dining rom while he's eating his dinner:cool:

No joy with boots. Just ended up with 79p left to pay. However did get a refund for the ricola. Me and SA laughed at the super long receipt.

Has anyone had a response from t about the 'smelly' pork that was 'wrongly' priced? The first one I had was on Monday saying Dear M We are very sorry blah de blah. The next one arrived on Tuesday, saying exactly the same thing but added.. Please accept this £10 gift card.

I was told to take my pork back into the store. CS at store refunded me and filled in a report and said I should be hearing from them within 2 to 3 weeks...as yet heard nothing.

Nipped out to a different MrTs this afternoon. looking for Christmas coins etc, and packs of mars bars. Didnt find any. But did spy a box on top shelf down the sweets isle, with a picture of a stocking on the side, Asked a nice young man to pass me the box.

It was those disney princess surprise stockings with sweets, ring, stickers, crayons etc. BBE july 2013!!

SA said he needed to check he could sell them with a manager, I explained that I assumed they had been forgotten and should have been out with all the reduced Crimble stuff, but would appreciate it as I could get them for our schools Christmas fair.

He came back and said he had OKed it with his manager and I could buy as many as I wanted. He said they were reduced but he could not tell me how much they were until I said how many I wanted:cool:.

I said the school would love as many as I could get, and as they had been overlooked anyway, I would really like them all.

He carried them over to a self scan and got the SA on there to even scan them through for me! They were very helpful and kind, they did explain that 1p items were usually given to the workers or thrown away! I said that I and the school were very grateful that these had not been thrown away and that they had allowed me to buy a whole box full to help with school fundraising (24, including the clip strips and original sticker price of £2:T)

Help like that is so nice and makes up for the grumpy ones! Thank you Mr T! And thank you to the OP who mentioned them (think it might have been Fudge-2 whos brill at putting photos up, really helps to identify things!

Hi everyone. I am having such a blonde day today (hope that doesn't offend anyone?!).
Used DS's body wash as tooth paste, it was from a buzz set they did at christmas with the little water gun and a tub of shower gel. YUCK
Then I thought it was 26th and saw what I thought was an OOD SEL for printer, ours is bust so picked it up, was mortified when it scanned lower price so will have to return tomorrow after I check if the SEL has been removed
Then came home and started panicking that I couldn't find the quote button on old thread DOH!
