spirit, god of the earth, remember, spirit, god of the sky, remember

It's part of a Sumerian hymn. My Sumerian stuff is on my external HD (newish PC) but iirc it's to Ishtar. But the spelling is as written in the Fields of the Nephilim song Psychonaut.

The Fields of Nephilim . they used to take some stick off the music press , goths and chaps and flourgate .I guess they made their mark and moved on in life .
    I couldn't get the Goth thing . :(

Anyway , congratulations to MrsBartolozzi for winning yesterdays quiz ,well done and well done to all .

For anyone silly enough to try again today here's the link .

morning all , haven't been out to T's in what seems like an age (maybe 3 or 4 days in reality) , a fairly busy day planned here washing up , hoovering etc but if I put my mind toit I'm sure the thought will pass (quickly) .
It's certainly a cold 'un ,the cats are crowding round the radiator like it's a discarded chicken wing , all except Black Bryn who loves to be out and about running and dancing in his own ' way ' , he's very gentle .
Have a good day all and get grabbin'the bargains . Later .

  • Morning all, Another busy day today need to take my son hospital for xrays of his ankle.
Went to T's last night found a lonely coffee machine descaler :rotfl: unfortunately someone had used black marker and put a line through the barcode so wouldnt scan. why go to the trouble of doing that rather than just take it off the shelf.
Not looking forward to the snow tonight. prefer snow at wk ends when I dont have to drive.:(
Have a good day all. Hopefully get back on later to try catch up.:D

    morning everyone

dds still unwell so home with me again today

It was a nice sunny day when three men were walking down a country road,
when they saw a bush with a pig's rear popping out.

The first man says, "I wish that was Demi Moore's rear"

The second man says, "I wish that was Pamela Anderson's rear."

Then the third man says, "I wish it was dark."
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.
