Im back from trip out in the cold....Brrrrrrrr
Didn't get my slow cooker, wanted to use my £10 curry voucher but the two cookers I had my eye on were out of stock even though id reserved one,:eek::mad:
A few whoopsies in T's with my weekly shop but went back in as I spotted the Lucozade shots for the first time along with yet more nuts. Did these at the SS but the shots scanned at £1.56 so had to get the SA to take them away which was a tad embarrassing as id picked up all 12... The nuts scanned at 1p though but I'll give them away as I have plenty and left loads on the strip for someone else..
While I was leaving Ts car park I saw the below, hope it wasn't any of you...:rotfl::rotfl:
Wasn't me

I felt nervous about posting too because of some nasty coments I'd read but thought who cares what they say, I'll just ignore them.
Anyway, got some possibly glitched toys today Spiderman at 49p and batman ones at 76p  please see photos below, have also included ones of the barcodes below each product. :rotfl:
The spiderman ones were via another customer :T I'd only picked up 1 of each batman toy to double check the price (white SELs) when the customer told me both were 76p as she'd checked. We split them between us so 4 each and 4 very happy little boys they'll be.
This was at Kn0cknag0n3y for the locals
The reason I think the batman ones were glitches is because the figure is £9.97 and a bigger car is £24 odds, on shelves above and beside these.Gutted, will try harder next time

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end0 -
Spiraling - sorry wasn't being ignorant, had to go for a nap before I keeled. I was in KnaG last night but all I spotted was 50p Toy Story bubble wands. Saw the Bob set but as you say, SEL was £29.xx. If you were lucky in c0nn$water I'd be more than grateful. I'd have tried my local but not venturing out of the house today and the way I'm going, I'll be housebound tomorrow as well0

Afternoon all.
I left work early as i have a stinking cold. Probably didn't help that i come home and the house was 13 degrees.:eek:
On a better note, Natwest contacted me today and are crediting my account with £50 as compensation for their carp customer service:j

re coupons....surely abuse of coupons is only using them when you havent brought the product or abusing the terms and conditions etc....in this case, the OP has bought the product...used correct coupons as per T&Cs..and then returned items.....theres nothing iin the T&Cs to say the items cant be returned so its not abusing them and this isnt likely to get coupon usage removed. If the OP had a genuine reason for returning the items (ie faulty/wrong product/out of date etc) the scenario would still be the same, and there would be nothing wrong with him/her doing that!
If Ts or any other store were that concerned, then they would only refund the price minus the coupon value...but as the reciept only shows 'coupon' and not what it was or used for, they wouldnt be able to do this. In the OPs scenario, the stock will just be put back on the shelf and resold, so Ts wont lose out.
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -
Why do you have to be so negative.I for one think smart1e did well and i like it when pictures are added.Well done smart1e and please dont be put of by some peoples comments.
I'm not being negative. Just expressing an opinion, much the same as you have just done. If I were to buy a pack of chewing gum for 38p then a load of other items to take my shopping over £40, pay using my coupon then take everything but the chewing gum back for a refund would that be abusing the system?:)0 -
Got the M&S vouchers and don't forget the free tickets to the ideal home show, just got two:TGot to go into town that week so will be there anyway, so can have a little look round with my free tickets;)
I can't wait to see what goodies you come back withI only ever manage pens & reuseable bags I never use:rotfl:

Yeah im ok ta, head still pounding but think its my stomach as strange as that may sound.
Quick story, November 2010 i caught the Norovirus bug which sorted itself out in a couple of days. But around March time last year i started going quesy for a few minutes every few days. Ignored it as ya do then one day... wallop.. i lost my eyesight  and felt like i had a really bad fever, headaches etc, that pass after 10 mins or so. Saw the Doc straight away, after a few tests it turned out i had a Bacterial infection that had been kicked off by the norovirus. Lost 7lbs in 6 days even though i was eating. Meds sorted that out barr some nasty side effects that caused me to black out and effected my liver..!!! Anyhoo, i didnt feel ill after all that but my tum was still playing up and by then id lost 22lbs. So was refered to hospital and had scans and cameras...err..both ways. It turned out theres nothing dodgy going on but the virus and bacterial infection caused my system togo haywire.. Im gernally ok now and put 12lbs back on but every now and then it lets me know its still there, hence the bad heads..have had to change my diet as there's things i cant eat and drink along with meds every morning. Funny thing was peeps told me it all goes downhill when ya turn 40... they didnt say i was like falling of a cliff..:rotfl:freddies_flyers_two wrote: »when your straying in to unknown territory!!lolWho's the more foolish: the fool, or the fool who follows him?OBI-WAN KENOBI:beer: :A :beer:0 -
Noticed that few people over the last few days have been getting these
so while I was out and about this morning I thought I'd check them out for interests sake. I see that there are 4 different colours but in my Tesco Extra they are marked up at £85 apart from the Teal which is £42.50. Thinking this might be useful for someone I had it scanned at the Tesco Direct desk and it wouldn't register on the hand held gun that the SA used. They seemed surprised and said they would try going into "till mode" and it did scan but at £42.50. This one seems to be the most abundant as there was a whole shelf end display of this colour and marked at £42.50 on a white SEL
Two questions here:
Has anyone else bought the Teal? (I would guess not as surely someone would have reported it by now?)
Anyone got any idea what the SA meant by "till mode" What other modes are there?
Was visiting a friend this morning so dropped into another MrT to have a mooch and kill some time. They also had the Teal but no SEL. There was an ood sel(31/1/12) for the Black Pepper colour but no stock. SEL said £58.xx save £28.xx.I would guess that if there had been stock it would go through at £85. HTH
Went to two T's today for a toaster both had the Denby & Construction Tower at correct SEL :mad:0
