Oh mannnnn takes me right back to pre-lightening my hair! I have natural pretty light blonde hair but I wanted to go darker so I chose a honey blonde 24 wash colour....6 months later and it was still in there, particularly ugly colour tooAnd it was just coming up to the leavers do at school and our Year 11 photo's so I had to do something. Pre-lightener I have since found to be a great product but this first time, it was not what I was expecting. My hair looked see-through!! I can't really explain it better than that, it was the most disgusting bleached out see through hair! Luckily it was remedied with a nice n easy dye but I was in floods of tears! Your poor daughter lutzi1, what a nightmare!!!!
Yup, it was at a time when she was very ill anyway and she was absolutely distraught. Most expensive bottle of shampoo/conditioner I ever bought! Apparently there's something in it that can cause this. They don't tell you that on the adverts , do they?Hope is not a strategy.0 -

I'm no prude, bu I do find it slightly strange that this and some of the subsequent comments can be posted and allowed to remain if we are supposed to treat this as a family forum. Maybe it's just me.Hope is not a strategy.0 -
