What to make from old jersey clothes?

Hello crafters! I have some of DS's old pyjama bottoms (see here) and tiny t shirts (like this) that I can't bring myself to throw away/ charity shop. However they're sitting unseen in a box in the storeroom until I work out what to do with them...
What on earth can I do with them?! :rotfl: Does anyone have any inspirational ideas for me?! Sadly I am a blank on this

Have to admit, am not crafty in the slightest, but isn't jersey suitable for ragrugs? So you would cut it into strips and use a large crochet type needle. Not sure what you use as a base, is it hessian?
Am curious now to see what others can suggest .

A quick Google brings up loads of ideas - depends how 'crafty' you are. There are loads more ideas too - just get googling!

Gosh, so many ideas, so few t shirts! I love the Generation T things and greenopolis ideas and will be making a scarf or rug, small carrier bag, and a sort of dress/ fringed/ holey type thing if I can seperate OH from one of his old plain ones!

i recently tried to make this scarf from old t shirts
i left the picture big so you can see how it fringes when you pull the ends, its double sided and really warm, so i am going to make one with sons t shirts he has outgrown but still likes
i am also mid making a rag rug with the sleeves and excess pieces, i shall take a pic and post that too but it is unfinished:o

with the Guns& Roses shirt you could easily cut out the design (not too close to the edge of the design) and applique it on you a new, larger t-shirt All you have to do is sew round the edge of the design on you a plain t-shirt. It usually looks really effective0

Do you know, that's a trick I've done *so* many times in the past that I'm embarrassed not to have done it already . Will search out a suitable larger tshirt pronto! They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.0
