As with the other brandnames SD have acquired, daft RRPs. Might well be a good deal at 16 quid but for them to say 90% off is meaningless and possibly misleading.0 -
Yeah, take the RRP with a pinch of salt.
However, the waterproof specification of 10000 is very good - most of the cheap brands tend to be 3000 which wont be great in heavy snow conditions
(I've been researching this loads as I'm off snowboarding for the first time, and as I'll be spending most of that time falling over I don't want to get wet!)0 -

Wanted to order one but not sure about the sizes and so whether its gonna suit me or not and all. Saw there return and exchange policy that says "However you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us". and "To cancel an order, you must inform us in writing. You must also return the goods to us as soon as possible, intact and in their original packaging, and at your own cost and risk".
just a bit confused here. I have to pay for the postage first and then pay to send the things back which iknow will be more than delievery charges. and then whats all this written notice abt. Have never used theirwebsite only used tobuy from store. Is the offers on SKI jackets in-store as well? please someone help me here. Thanks0 -
I would never order anything on line from sports direct ever again after experiencing their dreadful customer service/returns policy this Christmas. Bought a jumper as a christmas pressie which didn't fit.
I decided to return it to a store so i could choose an alternative size or another jumper. I printed off the order confirmation showing full payment and details of the item as i had been advised by CS to do.
My closest store is 40 mins drive away but when I got there they wouldn't accept that as proof of purchase and siad it had to be a slip of paper which came in the packaging with the item. It could have come in the packaging but i had no recollection of seeing it. They had the exact jumper in stock and I asked if I could just swap it over for a smaller size but they wouldn't allow that as I had no proof of purchase. I also said I liked another jumper which was more expensive but I would pay the extra but again they wouldn't budge.
They refused to contact cs or do anything to try and help me in any way. I had to go home and contact cs again and get them to send a copy of this document and then travel another 40 mins to take it back to shop- not a happy bunny.
Also they don't do refunds only exchanges and they won't give a credit voucher. All in all they were a complete nightmare.0
