Save when you spend a penny

Options
You can save when you spend a penny. As they say, if it's yellow let it mellow; if brown flush it down.

We use our shower over bath to collect water and use this to flush the loo with a flexible bucket. We also collect waste water when waiting for hot water ( in kitchen) to come through the hot tap and emply this into the bath. We've not managed to overcome the reluctance to recycle the cold bath water to wash ourselves when we next use the shower:mad:. Shame to sometimes see that water disappearing down the drain.

I've heard somwhere that saving water in the bath also reduces the need for heating too.

On another note, why is it that water companies can individually charge flat tenants surface water drainage on a shared roof. This seems like a rip-off to me that nobody has spotted.
