Focused & debt free by August 2012

Well after finally confronting our problems, partially by signing up here and sharing our financial state with you good people, we are now totally focused on turning things around.
Using the advice given here we've got our snowball calculation which estimates that we'll be debt free by August 2012. We think that we can improve on that and are aiming for 2010 instead. The snowball really helps to see things clearly and it made us feel so much better. I can't wait for next month when we can put our 1st reconciliation in (sad aren't I).
We're now on a mission to save/make money so the pile of things to go on ebay is getting bigger and our newly set budget (1st time I've had one in years) has given us goals in terms of spending.
Thanks to everyone who posted on our initial thread.... and watch this space. I hope to report back soon on our progress.
Good luck to everyone else out there in the same boat.
