Secured loan paid off but still showing as a charge against our house

OH made an important discovery the other day. A few years ago we took out a business loan using our house as security. The loan was paid off a couple of years ago but it was only very recently when we were looking to switch bank accounts that we were advised that our Experian file was still showing it as a charge.
A couple of phone calls later and it was all sorted but it's a useful lesson in:-
1. Checking the charge is removed once a secured loan is paid off
2. Regularly checking your Experian/credit file
