takeing out ccj owed money by ltd company

i wounder if you all can help i gave a bill owing 1500 pounds to a ltd company i was paid 500 in cash and the remainder as a cheque which latter bounced then 2 weeks latter the company disappeared
checking on the internet for company Registration Number: 05482623 it shows as still being active and acounts filled on Accounts filed on: 04/01/2012
does this mean it is still running and can i take out a ccj and if so how do i do that ?

Sue them at their registered office. Although if they have disappeared, you might have a job getting money off them. However, if you win and are not paid, then the fact of the CCJ and the names of the directors will leave some useful markers on the internet.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. you need to contact companies house with proof they still owe you money to stop this going through
You could issue a county court summons , but the chances of them paying will be slim I am afraid . It looks as though they have ceased to tradeVuja De - the feeling you'll be here later0
