I want to increase my tesco clubcard points to get a deal in the summer. Is it worth taking out their insurance to get free 1000 points.. I am not sure of the value of 1000 points financially. Any other suggestions of increasing my points welcome. thanks

I think 100 points is a £1 so a 1000 would be a tenner if you are using them for tesco deal that would be worth four times that amount so £40.0

Take the life insurance and get 4500 points - £45 or £190 if you convert to deal tokens. You can cancel after a couple of months. Used to be 1 month to get the points before, but they changed it.
Look at all the other places you can get points as well, on most things now from tyres, meals, dvd rental, MFI furniture.. etc0
