Since he hasnt mentioned he has a job, how do you know he has or hasn't thought of getting a job, for all we know he may not have explored it yet.0 -

Same question but in Greek, now they know a thing or two about loans, if anyone can help it's the bubbles!
You've only done half the job, translating back to English is the next step.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

From the OP "would bank extend overdraft til I find work?"
Its extremely condescending to suggest to someone about to graduate that they might want to think about getting a job.
You can't seriously be suggesting that there are graduates who wander out of lecture theatres blissfully unaware that getting a job is something they might want to look into!0 -

I would Peeler old bean, but it's all Greek to me...0 -
Hi again guys
Just wanted to say, I've given the OP another read, and, well, they're still not going to get a loan anywhere.
I intend on giving this another crack of the whip later this evening and will be sure to post back my findings.

Cant say as i cant read minds although i bet there are some who have left uni and not bothered to find work.
Ok i admit i didnt see the bit where he said "till i find work" and i was clearly in the wrong for saying what i did so slap on the wrist for me.0 -

Actually, I had several clients who were young graduates who hadn't given any thought to getting a job until they finished their degree, moved back to their parents and had enjoyed a summer off. It really isn't uncommon.0 -

As soon as I get a reply I'll stick it back in me fish and see what they say.
Early signs are not,I have to say, very encouraging, but I am thinking if the Greeks cant help it's a bit of a tragedy.

Folks I'm so sorry but I just re-read the OP and I can't see him getting a loan anywhere, frankly he's about as useful to a potential lender as Anne Frank's drumkit.
That said, I don't intend on giving up just yet and will be having another cheeky look in a bit. Will keep you posted.
