Scotish widows mortgage for professionals.

I am a health professional in full time employment. I earn around 38K per year with a bonus of 1-2k.

I am a recently qualified graduate. I have student debts of nearly £8000 to pay off ( at this moment I should thank other forum users for giving me suggestion on saving money in another thread ). Anyway, I am interested in a 4 bed property valued at £140k in west midlands.

I came across a ad by Scottish widows in my professional journal claiming 110% mortgage for medical professionals like me. I checked the web the rates are around 6.8%. Has anybody taken this offer before from Scottish widows.

I would like to burrow £150K to finance my purchase. How sensible is my plan. Thanks in advance.
