New Bed

Hi my other half has informed me that we will soon be in the market for a new bed and i was wondering does anyone know any good furniture shops to check out.

I am in east Belfast and im on a tight budget but would like a King size bed if possible and i have around £350 to spend.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

This is your best bet, especially for East Belfast. I've bought many items from them over the years and they are lovely people to deal with and their prices are always excellent. I cannot speak highly enough of them. Tom, Martin or Danny will sort you out. I much prefer dealing with the smaller independent retailers than the so-called 'big boys'.

have you though about getting bunk beds .
They take up less room ,no fighting over the duvet and when the need arises you can visit each other:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

If you know one end of a screwdriver from the other don't rule out ebay (you'll have to put it together). I got a faux leather bed similar to this one and bought a mattress locally, which is where the money goes. Don't scrimp on it - we have a Slumberland memory foam one, cost £400-500, and worth every penny.
  • stay away from ikea, if you buy one of their beds you have to buy their bed clothes too - and they are very groovy ha ha

You should try sound asleep beds glenford road newtownards not far from you, web site is www.soundasleepbeds.com. I was in last week and they have a number of kingsize on clearance, you should be able to pick up a good deal.
  • I would second S and L on castlereagh road :)

S&L get my vote too. We bought 2 beds (Rest Assured) from there about 2 years ago. I did a lot of shopping around & they were the best value. Their customer service is good- there was a fault with one of the bases which they sorted out quickly and in a friendly way.
