Braeburn apples

how are they for cooking, can i get away with an apple crumble or should i bake them? not sure on their characteristics when cooked. thanks.

    It suggests they are excellent for cooking.

    They don't go a mushy as Bramleys, but any apples are okay to cook with.

    i made them into a gorgeous apple crumble, with raisins, finished a bag of pecans, lemon and orange zest, a table spoon of plain flour, slipped with the cinnamon and a home made crumble topping with 2/3 caster sugar and 1/3 golden caster.

    sadly all i had to go with it was reduced clotted cream, ah well it's a hard life. thanks for the help everybody.
