If buyer is at valuation stage how far along is the process?

Buyer offered at start of December, was turned down for mortgage start of Jan, reapplied with another lender last week and surveyor has been on phone wanting to make appointment for the survey.

My question is, how far along the process are we? I have asked this question on the BUYING/SELLING forum as well.

Should we be getting a wriggle on and offering on something?

  • Your buyer sounds like a bit of a clown so if I were you I wouldn't be doing too much yet.

With my last purchase the offer was accepted on a Tuesday and surveyor was in on the Friday. Why is it taking them so long?

problems with getting a 90% mortgage I think, so as far as I can work out he is going for a 85% one with a different lender.
