Just a reminder to anyone who receives a Tax Coding Notice for 2012 / 2013 to check it as I received mine over the weekend. As part of my job I receive a lump sum plus mileage expenses as an Essential Car User.
HMRC has taken the benefits figure from the P11D supplied by my employer BUT took it from my personal allowance TWICE !!! :eek:
A quick call to HMRC Helpine has now fixed it - saved me about £260.00 tax
