I just notice, people could always get 6 rols toilet papers in pound shop (e.g. £1 or 99p shop0. it is avaiilable all the time so do not need to wait for discount in big supermarket ...

i used to buy the cheaper own brand / pound shop toilet roll, but as I've gotten older I find i prefer something softer on my bum:)
    The end is nigh
  • £5.97 in Asda, Taunton. Funny how the prices vary from different parts of the country.
  • It's £7.98 for a pack of 18 at mylocal Asda.....they don't have the 12-packs but the 9-packs are £4.98

Will have to keep on using the old newspapers :rotfl:

We used to do that when we were kids! :rotfl: That reminds me of the outside loo we had in our back yard (we also had an inside one as well by the way), our dad used to make us use this to keep smell out of the house if we needed to do a number two. He used to ask us if we got frostbite on our bums after sitting out on the loo during the winter months, especially if we sat out there for sometime. Typical dad sense of humour!

Thanks everyone for reporting back and sorry for those who didn't manage to get hold of this offer. I didn't actually manage to get to Kingston in the end so wasn't able to report back if they had any stock at the above price.

If I see any other offers similar to this I'll post it as soon as I can, if someone else hasn't beaten me to it that is.

Wilkinson also sale 6 rols toilet paper within its value range for about 70p (forgot the exact price) but they are smaller

The one on 99p and £1 shop is fine in my opinion, although I did not use it regularly but I have tried it. Also I have seen some elderly have bought it. At least worthy to tty and take it from there.

I would've thought that you would ring your ASDA first to check, if you live that far away. It's a known fact that all the supermarkets have 'local' deals which differ around the country.
