  • hey all!

Avoided Boots today due to nearly 24 hours of constant, non-stop horrible rain in Devon. :(

Anyway, for all you guys out there, has anyone caught onto this yet??

    Wilkinson Sword Quattro 'Energy' Razor..........

On Try me free at the moment, but you have to send back the handle & your receipt. When bought in Boots at the moment you get a free pack of 4 blades too, AND a £2 off blades voucher inside the package.

Idea: Buy Razor, get 4 x free blades + £2 off blades
Send Original razor handle back (keep original blade)refund £7.99
Buy Razor again, 4 x more free blades + £2 off blades again.

So for £7.99 you would get 1 razor with 10 blades (8 free + 1 with each handle (2)) and £4 off your next purchase off blades, which is nearly another free pack. You'll also get 2 x AAA batterys from the packs too!

Does that all make sense? Very very good deal if you guys or (girls) your OH's are looking for a decent razor at the moment!

    Cheers! :D

If you spend over £15 at firebox.com you get one free at the moment and there's loads of £5 off vouchers floating around atm

Hello fellow 'Bootsers' - I have read so many positive comments about the N07mirror - I trust all of your opinions/recommendations and really want to get it as well (if i can find it that is!!).

I just wanted to ask - i straighten my hair all the time, is the mirror big enough for me to see what I'm doing?? - or is it specifically designed for mainly 'the face' and not for 'hair styling'.

Hope to receive a reply - thank you!!XX

It's a face mirror really. YOu could just about manage to do your hair as well but not so easily. Lovely mirror though. hth

It may seem silly to you but freecycle mission is to keep stuff out of landfill .Most people will put unwanted paper in their recycling bin so asking for boots vouchers on the main group fails the landfill test! Also Ladysparkle was offered the opportunity to post this "wanted " on the cafe group affliated to this freecycle group , which was set up for exactly this purpose !
This person already has a message on several other freecyle groups locally for Boots vouchers - I think the phrase " dont take the mickey springs to mind"!

    Oh.......O.K. :o

Just hope Boots 'recycle' all the vouchers once we have used them... ;)

    Mornin' Bootsers :hello:

Just planning this afternoon's visit to Boots...and as I get flustered as soon as I set foot in the place could anyone help me with a couple of points re vouchers?

The £3 'Any product from the Sanctuary Spa Skincare range' from the Mag or free bag - Does this work on everything in the Sanctuary range or is it just the 'Spa' stuff?

The save £2 when you spend £10 on Luxury Bathing Range - Did I read that the till 'sees' the free bag as £10 so that you can actually spend less than £10 and the voucher is accepted?

    Many thanks X

Really want to get a mirror for my mum as she is unwell. I have a parenting voucher, and picked up a mirror in my local boots and out of nowhere a lady appeared and put a wrap in my basket telling me it'd be free with the mirror! (as if i didn't know that!)
She said 'we only have two of those mirrors left, aren't they a great buy?'
    ME- 'err yes they are'
SA- i can put your other items through 1st for you and then you'll have a no7 voucher to get another £5 off it too'
    ME-(innocently) 'REALLY?'
SA- yes, and you'll get another voucher when you get the mirror too'
ME- 'ooh lovely, thanks for your help, is it alright if i pay downstairs as i have more bits to get'
SA-I'll look after the mirror here for you, and then you won't have to carry it around, just come back once you've got all your shopping, i'll put it through in £5 lots for you so you get maximum no7 vouchers'
    ME- um, okay, thankyou.

i then wandered aimlessly, as didn't really need anything else and couldn't afford anything other than the nappies etc and 2 free cameras on bogof i already had in there.

i went back to the lady and said 'hi, i don't think i'll take the mirror today, as it'll be bit difficult to carry with the buggy'
SA -'if you pay today you can pick it up another time, as like i said we only have 2 left'
ME (redfaced) 'ummmm no i think i'll risk it, and come back another day, i'll just have these bits for now':o

    I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!
i daren't try to do it with parenting voucher as she would DEFINATELY have noticed the glitch, so i didn't get one as store was about to close.

now i'm really too nervous to go in again in case she appears again! She sounded like they were her personal items, and was so helpful compared to anyone else i've encountered in that store... and its the only one near me.

Has anyone ever been refused the mirror/facial sauna if SA noticed glitch?

The £3 off Sanctuary Skincare from both the mag and the weekend bag are for the new white packaging facial skincare goodies, there have been reports on here that both have been used together with also the ACM points voucher, at the moment giving you either/or both 150 and 200 points, people have been buying the scrub salt bodybar and also facial wipes and it worked, getting the bag free of course.

Also, yes, the till sees you sopending £10 when getting the free bag, so your bathing stuff neednt amount to £10. I did this saturday, bought bath foam and bath relaxer should have been £9 plus the £10 bag, get the bag free but the £2 off a tenner spent kicks in leaving £7 to pay, plus £5 no7 voucher handed back to you ;)

This didn't work for me. I think it was because i bought 2 skincare items. The bag was 0.00 so the till couldn't take off £2 from zero???? Maybe if you are buying 2 body products the till will take the £2 off one of those?

so both the vouchers are for the new skincare facial range but work on the 'salt scrub body bar?'
