Does anyone else think we might need a new Boots part seven thread with the botanics/cold cure thing finished and machines having new coupons and the new magazines plus the arrival of the new £5 No 7 voucher and the sanctuary bag and the triple points event soon? And it being a new month.

That came out as gibberish but you know what I mean

  • Been to Boots this morning and bought 2 Sanctuary Spa items - hand cream £4.95 and handwash £3.95.

Both full size products so qualified for the free weekend bag, but also handed the SA the '100 extra points if you buy 2 products from the Sanctuary Spa range' from the ACM but the points haven't been added.

Can this not be used in conjunction with the weekend bag offer or do I need to phone customer services and complain about not receiving the extra points????

Went in to Boots today and got:

    1 x Sanctuary Hand Cream £3.95
    1 x Sanctuary Body Spritz £4.50
Free Bag - very nice it is too.

Voucher from ACM for a free wash bag (worth £10) from FCUK for spending over £5

    So got:

    1 x Body Wash £3.50?
    1 x mini Deo £1.75
    1 x mini shave gel £1.75
    342

The bag wouldn't go through so the assistant had to put it through manually.

Also bought a packet of mints to take total up to £15 and got my extra 100 extra points.

BUT I didn't get a £5 voucher and there is no advertising up for it either..

wow thats something new I learnt. The machine in my local boots is out of order very often.now I know what to do.Did u complain online or in a letter. Thanks

I usually email them btc.cshelpdesk@boots.co.uk , get an automated response, then a letter is usually sent to me.

Bear in mind they do ring the store you are complaining about, to make sure you aren't trying to pull the wool over their eyes! I would say that all the machines in the store have to be out of order. My local one has only one machine, but another one has two machines. These were both out of order.

Another Boots points question... if it's a triple points period, will they accept a double points on your spend coupon, or will this be refused?

Hi you will be able to use a double points voucher at the same time as a triple points promo but you wont get your triple points doubled...IYSWIM.

What you will get is triple your normal points earned - 12 points per pound - for the triple points promo

Then double your normal points earned - 8 points per pound spent - for your double points coupon.

So effectively you will receive 20 points per pound spent but remember you usually have to have spent over £15 to earn triple points in the first place when these promos are on.
