Daily Mail - Ideal Home show. incredibly cheap tickets.

Sorry if this has already been posted, I have searched but only brought up saving £2 on early ticket orders.

The "Real Homes" Magazine (March 2007 issue with "689 bright ideas" on the cover), currently contains a "complimentary ticket" for the Daily mail ideal home show which is 9th March till 1st April at Earls Court London.

This ticket gives one person free entry on a week day (Mon-Fri), which is normally worth £14 (£12 if bought in advance). Alternatively you can "upgrade" the ticket to a weekend ticket (sat and sun) for £5 at the box office. The weekend tickets are normally £16 (£14 if bought in advance).
The magazine costs £2.75, considerably less than the tickets themselves. And of course nothing stopping you buying multiple magazines for multiple tickets.

Total Cost of Weekend ticket from magazine: £7.75 (saving £8.25 on door price or £6.25 on advance tickets)

Total cost of Weekday ticket from magazine: £2.75 (Saving £11.25 on door price or £9.25 on advance tickets)

Hope this helps someone =D My parents were delighted with it!

  • Im not sure 2 people could use a voucher each ? usually vouchers like this say on the conditions bit that the free entry is only valid when your accompanied by someone paying full price
I would be intrested to know if this is true for this voucher?
  • I bought the magazine today fully expecting there to be conditions attached to the ticket however there aren't any other than the extra £5 you have to pay for weekend entry and that you have to complete some personal details on the back of the ticket. I am delighted and already told a friend I usually go with to get a copy of the magazine - more money to spend at the show!
  • Ohh brillant thank you! will have to try and get a couple of copies then :)
  • Mine didn't have any in - was it a leaflet?

Hi. My ticket was just loose with the colour wheel thing and the paintbrush inside the plastic packet. But I got my copy by post (subscription) so they may be packaged slightly differently in the shops?

Has anyone else got a free ticket with their mag as I bought this today but could not find the ticket.
  • It looks as though that only after subscribing you can get the ticket in the magazine. But that would be so unfair!!! I dont know what to do - is anyone going to contact the magazine if they have their phone number- if they do, then can you please post it. Thanks

This magazine has been the subject of much debate between me and friends in another part of the country. It seems like the free ticket is only avalible in certain parts of the country eg Bristol and Cardiff. It will say on the plastic bag if it is in there.
