I have a steam cleaner (looks like a small cylinder hoover)
Great for cleaner hard floors
Great for cleaning cooker and bathroom
However, tried it on carpet and did not find that it got out what was on it (Dog had accident)
Much prefer my electric Bissell carpet cleaner which is brilliant for getting out stains and making carpets smell fresh.
So I think what I am trying to say is if you have dirty carpets I would buy a carpet cleaner0 -
I have one of these http://www.idealworld.tv/Little_Yello_Steam_Cleaner_with_11_Piece_Accessory_Kit_167301.aspx?fh_location=//idealworld/en_GB/categories@lt;{idealworld_1001}/brand_iw@gt;{little20yello}
and I wouldnt be without it, (although I only paid £49.99) it does everything my mothers £250+ machine does and with the same results. I clean almost everything with mine from the oven to windows to floors.
I used to have this type of thing http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=steam+mops&!!!!!googhydr-21&index=aps&hvadid=7735920049&ref=pd_sl_2pwoo724od_b but to be honest found it wet floors too much to be any good.
YDSMI wish I would take my own advice!0 -
