SHould I become Self employed Financial Advisor

Hi, Im currently an employed financial advisor for one of the high street banks and I am considering to leave and become self employed as a Fianncial Advisor. I have researched in regards to joining a Network to deal with compliance and to provide the rates system etc. Just wanted your opinion in regards to this and anything you all think I should be aware of.

I have a 6 year background in Mortgage advising and Financial Advising and just seems logical as fed up of working for someone else and feel its time for me to leave, branch out and utilise my skills more effectively and be my own boss...

I would really appreciate any tips and some help.

Thanks
