Try doing a load without them and see if you notice any difference, could save you £'s0

I re-use tumble dryer sheets over and over again
and every now and then I add a new sheet ,
as soon as the dry washing comes out and is sorted to be put away the old sheets go straight back into tumble dryer for next time
and eventually after many times then i discard0 -
:oI don't mean to be silly .. but what do tumble dryer sheets do?
i often tumbel dry clothes but i miss that fresh smell that clothes get when they are lined dry.
Oh and where do you buy them from i've never seen them?
thanks karen0 -
Can't be faffed with them, also can't believe I've managed to line dry for the past 2 weekends  - flip! it's still January!!!
If I need to freshen an item without washing, eg it's got a bit dusty, been stuck in the cupboard a bit too long, I put a dab of fabric softener onto a J-cloth or similar, and tumble dry for 5 minutes.0 -
Balls - either special tumble dry balls or plain old tennis balls! If I want fragrance (which usually I dont) I just spray a bit of perfume onto a wet wipe and bung it in. the wet wipes dont disintegrate like tissues.
I can get special tumble dry balls in the local pound shop - but I found mine in the local garage shop for the same price!0
