Princes Tuna 4 pack £2.99 at B&M Bargains

Decided to pop in to B&M Bargains before doing the 'big shop' as they often have random food items at cheap prices.

At the moment they have 4-packs of Princes tuna chunks for £2.99 which is better than all the supermarkets, where the 'normal' price is £6.99 I think.

Tesco is currently £6.99
Morrisons has them 'on offer' at £4
ASDA have them at £3...

...but at £2.99, B&M come up trumps!

My local B&M have these priced at £3.29 so Asda is the best for me.

Is it definitely Princes though? That must be unique to your local if so, as I can't see that offer on MySupermarket anywhere.
  • 50p/tin for Princes would be a great deal as Asda's Smartprice tuna is now a whopping 75p/tin. It wasn't so long ago this was 45p!!
  • I can get John West tuna for 72p a tin at Costco (you have to buy 5). I dunno weather princes are considered better or worse than John West but at 74p per tin you cant go wrong with that...

There are two types, the original poster didn't mention that it is only the tuna in BRINE that is £2.99, the tuna in SUNFLOWER OIL is £3.29 at B&M.

  • B&M do tins of tuna 'ocean bay' i think the name is for about 30p each. I got the princess tins last time I was in and noticed the ocean bay stuff! I bought a couple of tins just incase they were horrid, but they are good stuff. They are the 'flakes', but when mixed with mayo/onion and sweetcorn and put in the baked stud or sandwich they taste just the same!

My B & M is in Belfast, so you might need to check availability of your own store!

Wel worth considering if they have enough other stuff to make it worth your while doing an order.
