Urgent query regarding "early settlement"

You're not the only one struggling to get information out of Everyday Loans. My boyfriend changed his address last summer after taking out a loan with them. Since early December we have phoned 3 times to request the information on his loan be popped in the post as his seem to have disappeared in the move. We still have no sign of documentation. I'm now going to write to them.
Good luck with yours.
Sounds like their worthy of their own thread...anyway, Special Delivery was posted today ! Will keep you up-to-date !0 -
I sent a letter recorded delivery this morning too. Fingers crossed!0

Funnily enough, I got their letter today.
Not so funny that I still have my doubts. Anyway, I think I will get in touch with my local "Citizen's Advice Bureau" to check a few details and hopefully they'll be able to help me settle this !0 -

Why CAB? Whats the problem with the letter?
I do not agree with the figure they have providedand would like a financial expert to double-check it.
Of course I could upload a copy of their settlement qoute & my original contract to this site but I'd rather notso I'm thinking that my local CAB would be the best place to turn to for advice. Or could you think of anywhere else ?

Was it some horrendous figure then compared to what you borrowed? The interest on the other half's loan is bordering on ridiculous hence why we were trying to get hold of the paperwork.0

I wouldn't call it "horrendous" but I do have a feeling that it is 200 or 300 Pound too high. I have now booked an appointment with the CAB in Walton-on-Thames for February 14th which is just in time as their current "Early Settlement Qoute" expires on Feb. 20th !0
