My 2 year old Blackberry has packed up (ball not working... seems a common problem) A friend has given me his Blackberry but he uses Orange and says it needs to be unlocked. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Too late now your sorted, but I got my iPhone unlocked for free. Found link on here, and simple process on O2 website. 2 days later unlocked officially. Don't know if all phones/networks do this.
I unlocked an old phone couple of years ago at a shop, and had terrible trouble with it. The unlocker had corrupted the system. Sorry to be negative!0
