Given tax code 0T for 2012/13

I have had the same employer since March 2011, tax deducted through PAYE with normal tax code. I have received a letter advising me of a refund due for the 09/10 tax year then a separate letter saying that my employer has been instructed to use code 0T for next year.
I only have 1 employer - why the change? what does this mean?

Thanks for replies...
Will I earn more than £100K.... not likely... about a fifth of that.
I did however phone HMRC today. After waiting 45 minutes in a queue they seem to think I am claiming JSA. I did claim JSA conts based for 6 months in 2009. When the 184 days of Conts based ended , I ceased claiming. I now have to provide written proof to HMRC that I am no longer claiming.
I don't know if the computer records are wrong but anyway.. how long will this take to sort out? I'll hopefully get the proof over the next few days and send it off.
On 2nd reading of the HMRC letter advising me of my tax code, it appears they are implementing it now,, in this tax year. Until it's sorted I will have no tax free pay. If it's not sorted quickly, will I have to wait months for a refund if it goes into a new tax year?0 -
Yours is the third post concerning a mistake in a tax code https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3740987

Can this be something to do with glitches in their new computer system?

Cheers for the reply..... I will bookmark the complaint leaflets. Hope I don't need it.0
