Need ideas for get well hamper please

My dad is in the hospital. I'm doing a get well hamper either for him to have in the hospital or when he gets home. He's in his 60s. He likes crosswords so I'll put a couple of crossword books in, also some fruit, shortbread, his favorite tea, a nice dad mug and one of these personalised get well tins of soup from Heinz. The hospital encourage patients to bring their own pyjamas and toiletries so I'll probably put some of those in too. I have more than I thought I would lol, but I'd still appreciate any more ideas for what to put in a get well hamper. Thanks.

Would he drink squash or cartons of fruit juice? Its ever so hot in hospital and he'll probably get thirsty. Maybe a bag of boiled sweets or similar too.0
