Asda is doing a similar 'meal deal' for £6. The portions are generous and you can choose between chinese or indian, or a mixture. It includes two starters (eg spring roll or onion bhaji) two mains, two portions of rice and two portions of naan bread or prawn crackers (or one of each). There are lots of main meals and different types of rice to choose from. I got one and it lasted me two meals and a couple of snacks

Thanks for this-nothing beats M&S food, esp at that price. Just gone and got one, I love having a M&S Food right round the corner
  • and it will taste 'rank' like every supermarket take away meal! Stop patronising the big chains and buy local from your regular shops!

I'm not sure how many people this is supposed to feed. Guess it depends how hungry you are. I've not bought it since it was last on offer which was ages ago but I had it to myself and had some one day and the rest a couple of days later and I have a BIG appetite.:o

Mmmmmmmmm, will have to try that, sounds lovely.

Also, you all have to try the hot roast beef and onion bagettes ... to die for :D
  • We had this very same meal a couple of weeks ago at full price and we thought it was delicious!!! Even better than our local take away.

We found the portion sizes good as well!!

Had the chinese last night, was delish... bit disappointed with the noodles, but thats just a taste thing... rice was yum, nice selection of dishes. Had bought 2 boxes of them to feed 3, and there's leftovers. Shame I'm not at home to scoff them lol
    :rotfl:
  • I loved my chinese last night....enough for the 2 of us, OH didn't even finish his!
