Quorn in a slow cooking?

I have a slow cooker but rarely use it:o This year I would like to actually get round to using it more as it is taking up space in my small kitchen. It was handed down to me so I'm not losing money exactly but it does stare at me everytime i go to cook making me feel very guilty:o Plus this year I would like to give batch cooking a go, not sure its going to work for us but won't know till I try.

So my question is, as we are a family of vegetarians i know i can use the slow cooker for soups and so on but can i use quorn in it? Or will the quorn just melt into a watery mess if cooked, even on a slow heat, for so long?

Thank you :)

It's a slow cooker, so just put it on to slow cook.

I put mine on low setting I leave the house at 8am and get back at 6 - so 10 hours. I feel this is too long as the quorn loses much of it's structure. It still tastes nice, but you can tell it's been cooked too long - if you know what I mean.

Its good for making chilli with the dried tvp, as long as you make sure youve enough liquid and allow room for the swelling.
