I haven't tried it yet. I would like to hear what you think about it. I am a bit discouraged by their T&C, which says among others:

"Introduction gift
The introduction gift can vary from one campaign to another. Later in the ordering process to receive the introduction gift you have to follow a 3 point guide, which amongst other things requires you to send in documentation for your identity in the form of a scan of your driver’s license, health insurance card or your latest gas, water, warm or electricity bill which is no older than 6 months.

We reserve the right to cancel your purchase and refund your payment, in case of no stock of the introduction gift. "

    4.8.2 Price for VIP

VIP Gold costs 29.97 GBP per month. The subscription is automatically renewed for a period 30 ahead, until you chose to unsubscribe it
The above mentioned prices are PointBlog’s normal subscription costs. In some cases the VIP subscriptions can vary in price and periods, for example if you use on of PointBlog’s introduction offers. These periods and prices will be described in the terms of the offer in question.

    4.8.5 Termination of VIP subscription.
You can cancel your subscription at any time to the expiration of the current subscription period (not later than 1 hours before expiry).

You can terminate your VIP subscription either by the self service area or by contacting our telephone support

Not for me ..But doesn't look to complicated to cancel ..Expensive if you get stung for an extra month though.

But aren't they doing it to harvest our data, steal identity perhaps? Request to confirm ID during normal shopping (particularly for 10p) seems a bit suspicious.

Slightly different terms - £45 per month. :D

The phone is OK as a basic phone and worth more than £1.50 if you cancel within 14 days. I bought a couple for £10 each at CPW a while ago.

    Still wouldn't touch it, though.
  • Just letting you guys know, this isn't a scam.

I gave them my bank details (afterwards thinking to myself I'm a complete idiot) and I don't have a driving license so I gave them a photo of my college pass (worth technically nothing)

Believe it or not, 5 (ish) days later, got the pen drive in the post! Sure I completely forgot to unsubscribe and they stung me for £20 14 days later (unsubscribed now mind you, was a doddle) but a 16Gb Pen Drive incl delivery for £20 in itself still isn't bad xP haha
