Champagne for a tenner!

I'm surprised that no-one has commented on this, but at Christmas time my local T***o started selling 'Royal Wedding' Prince William champagne for ten pounds a bottle. I tried it then, and noticed today that it is back (or still available).
The best thing about this champagne is the way that it fizzes, producing a satisfying rich head and a delicious texture in the mouth. This also affects the way in which you absorb the alcohol, producing a wonderfully light tipsy feeling that arrives rapidly, and wears off fairly soon afterwards. So it looks great and makes you feel great, suggesting that it would be good for a party.
Taste? At this price, that would be asking too much. It is mildly sweet and pleasant, but no substance to it. For the same price, I would rather drink a pretty good wine, but it was worth drinking once.
