Has anyone had these installed, the wireless energy saving system. I had the guys in from Solar UK to give a quote which came in at £2300 or £26pm for 120 months with their finance deal, wasn't interested in that which then got reduced down to £22 pm but as we're in the middle of organising a new kitchen told the guy until we get the kitchen sorted we wouldn't make a difference, and when we were ready we'd be more prepared for a cash deal rather than a finance deal, he seemed to lose interest at this point and ended the pleasant sale talk he had been giving.
Thing is I checked it out on Which and retail from the manufacturer is only about £4-500 and only takes about an hour and a half to fit it all, so over £1800 to fit it seems like a job i'd love to get paid for.
Just wondering if anyone has had it, or heard of someone getting it, and if so how much they paid etc etc. Cheers:D

It seems barking mad.
I question if the savings would ever pay off.
As I understand it, it's simply a 'energy meter' to make you more aware of the amount you're using.
It does very, very little else tas I understand it compared to a meter like http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CurrentCost-Smart-Energy-Monitor-Meter-CC128-ENVI-Perfect-Condition-/140683897316?pt=UK_Gadgets&hash=item20c169e9e4 - which have variants you can plug into your PC to log usage over time.
You might also get a couple of wireless thermometers, and you're more or less there.0
